Piet Baete is an accomplished scriptwriter and director with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving at Lecter Media since August 2021, Piet focuses on writing and directing for the series True Crime Belgium. As an author for WPG uitgevers since December 2007 and a writer for Standaard Uitgeverij since April 2020, Piet has contributed to various publications. Previous roles include scenarist for De Mensen, where four episodes of season 3 of "Professor T" were produced, and team leader for the scenario team at Zodiak Belgium. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Germaanse Talen from KU Leuven, a professional program in screenwriting from UCLA, and a complete course in Statement Analysis from Hyatt Analysis Services.
