Serkan Elmali

Serkan Elmali has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Serkan began their career as a Researcher at the Çekmece Nuclear Research & Training Center, where they conducted energy and efficiency calibrations of gamma detectors and performed sample analysis using non-destructive testing methods.

Serkan then joined Bimtes E-Lab as an R&D Engineer, where they contributed to research and development projects. Serkan later took on the role of Technical Services Manager at the same company, overseeing technical operations.

Afterward, Serkan joined Rieter Textile Machinery Systems as an Electronic Service Engineer. In this role, they provided technical support, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing services for electronic equipment used in textile machinery. Serkan also prepared detailed service reports and helped customers find solutions on-site.

Following their time at Rieter, Serkan joined Lectra as a Field Service Engineer. Here, they were responsible for the pre-installation, installation, and start-up of cutting systems. Serkan also optimized manufacturing processes, provided technical support and troubleshooting, and implemented predictive and preventive maintenance programs.

Serkan progressively grew within Lectra, taking on the role of Technical Call Center & Dispatch Manager. In this position, they managed on-site and remote hardware and software issues, coordinated team members, and dispatched workloads. Serkan also performed remote software installations and ensured the fair distribution of work among field service engineers.

Most recently, Serkan served as a Customer Care Manager at Lectra, where they oversaw day-to-day customer care operations and worked to improve overall customer support quality. Serkan also implemented customer success methodologies, managed customer and revenue retention, and collaborated with the sales team to create upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Throughout their career, Serkan has demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a focus on customer satisfaction and engagement.

Serkan Elmali earned their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi, completing their studies from 1995 to 2000.
