John Mahlbacher

John Mahlbacher, P.E. is an experienced professional in civil engineering and construction management, currently serving as a Land Development Plan Reviewer in the Community Development Department of Lee County since May 2016. With a career spanning over two decades, John has held various positions including Senior Construction Manager and Owner at Sticks & Bricks Construction, where project management for single and multi-story vertical constructions is a key focus. Previously, John held project management and structural engineering roles at TKW Consulting Engineers, Inc. and MWH Global, specializing in wind and gravity analysis, as well as compliance with construction regulations for commercial and municipal projects. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural specialization from the University of South Florida and an Associate of Arts from Edison State Community College.
