Padmakar Rao has worked as Head of Analytical R&D at Lee Pharma Ltd since 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as a Manager at SHILPA MEDICARE LTD and Deputy Manager at Shilpa Medicare, both starting in 2015. Padmakar also served as a Research Associate at Aurobindo Pharma from 2012 to 2015 and at Lupin Research Park from 2009 to 2012. Before that, they were a QA&TS at Wyeth from 2007 to 2009.
Padmakar Rao completed their undergraduate studies at B.V.K College from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a degree in Chemistry. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry at T.S.R & T.B.K. College, Andhra University from 2005 to 2007.
