Alexander Gebru

Alexander Gebru has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Their most recent role is as a Manufacturing Engineer at Lee Valley Tools, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at eSight Eyewear as a Manufacturing Engineer from August 2020 to July 2022.

Alexander also has experience in academia, having served as a Lecturer at Debre Tabor University from January 2013 to January 2018, and as an Assistant Lecturer at Wachamo University from July 2012 to December 2012.

Alexander began their career as a Maintenance Engineer at Dashen Beer factory from September 2010 to February 2011.

Alexander Gebru has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bahir Dar University, which they completed from 2008 to 2012. Alexander then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in mechanical design, from Bahir Dar University, which they completed from 2015 to 2017. In 2019, they enrolled in Carleton University and obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they completed in 2020. Alexander also briefly studied Marine Engineering at Bahir Dar University in 2013.
