Andrew Glover

Andrew Glover is currently a Senior Lecturer in Journalism at Leeds Trinity University, a position held since November 2022, after serving as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sunderland from March 2016 to November 2022, where responsibilities included teaching, program leadership, and maintaining international educational partnerships. Prior to academia, Andrew held various roles in media and communications, including Group Head of Video at Johnston Press, where strategic oversight of content and monetization across multiple websites was key. Previous experiences also include managing multimedia consultancy at Lush Places Media Ltd, editorial training at Trinity Mirror Group PLC, and a significant tenure at the BBC in various roles, including News Editor and Managing Editor. Andrew's early career featured reporting positions at Border Television, Sky, and Radio Forth. Educational credentials include an MA in Multimedia Journalism from Teesside University.
