Dr Alyshia Murgatroyd-Giffen

Dr. Alyshia Murgatroyd-Giffen is a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology at Leeds Trinity University since February 2023, with research interests including Trauma Informed Care, Generational Trauma, and the impact of pornography on young people's sexual health and behavior. Currently, Dr. Murgatroyd-Giffen serves as a Senior Forensic Psychologist at Forensic Psychology Practice Ltd and has previously held positions as a Senior Forensic Psychologist at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust and Trainee Forensic Psychologist at various organizations including Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and HM Prison Service. Dr. Murgatroyd-Giffen earned a Doctor of Forensic Psychology from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Psychology from Leeds Trinity University.
