Professor Danielle McDermott is a distinguished academic at Leeds Trinity University, serving since January 2012 as Professor of Custodial Practice and Head of Prisons and Custody, while also leading the Academic Group for Psychology, Criminology, & Sociology. With expertise in Forensic Psychology, Professor McDermott teaches undergraduate courses on crime theories, adolescent offenders, risk assessment, violent behavior, treatment approaches, and self-harm and suicide.
