Joanne Wang

Joanne Wang is a Biopharma Investment Banking Analyst at Leerink Partners, actively working since July 2023. Previously, Joanne served as the Director of External Affairs for the Robinson Life Sciences, Business, and Entrepreneurship Program at the University of California, Berkeley, from May 2021 to May 2023. In addition to this role, Joanne taught a course on The Science and Business of Biotechnology at UC Berkeley in late 2022. Other experience includes internships at Global Blood Therapeutics and Atreca, Inc., as well as a research assistantship at the Kuriyan Lab and a scholarship position at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology, both from the University of California, Berkeley. Educational background includes a high school diploma from Torrey Pines High School, completed in 2019.
