Maura Polak (Paone)

Maura (Paone) Polak has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Maura began their career in 1999 as a Human Resources Assistant for Peer Review Analysis, a division of Core, Inc, where they handled employee benefit programs and supported recruitment and employee relations activities. Maura continued in a similar role as a Human Resources Representative for Peer Review Analysis, contributing to the successful integration of Core, Inc's employees under Fortis, Inc. In 1999, they also joined MCMC LLC as a Manager of Human Resources, overseeing strategic planning and day-to-day operations for a managed care start-up organization. Maura designed and facilitated HR-related transition plans for mergers and acquisitions. Since 2004, Maura (Paone) Polak has been working at Leerink Partners as a Managing Director of Human Resources, responsible for supporting the HR function for a boutique Healthcare Investment Banking Firm. Maura handled all aspects of HR during that time and continues to hold this position presently.

Maura (Paone) Polak pursued their undergraduate education from 1995 to 1999 at Providence College. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Psychology and Spanish.
