Timothy Koch

Timothy Koch, MDiv, JD, PhD, currently serves as the Executive Director for Compliance, Title IX & Accessibility at Lees-McRae College since November 2021, and has held the role of Executive Director of Compliance and Title IX Coordinator. Additionally, Timothy has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Excelsior College since August 2016, developing and delivering online courses in Health Care Ethics and Health Care Delivery Systems. Previous positions include Professor of Public Speaking and Civil Rights Investigator at Appalachian State University, as well as an adjunct faculty member at Pacific School of Religion and Queens University of Charlotte, where Timothy created and taught various graduate and undergraduate courses in religious studies. Prior legal experience includes working as a Field Attorney at the National Labor Relations Board and a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. Timothy's educational background includes a Doctor of Law degree from Arizona State University, a Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Divinity from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
