Esther Dere

Esther Dere is an accomplished showrunner and executive producer with extensive experience in the documentary film industry. Currently serving as the showrunner and executive producer of "The New York Times Presents" at Left Right since July 2021, Esther previously held roles as co-executive producer and showrunner for the two-part HBO documentary series "Seen & Heard" at HOORAE, as well as co-executive producer for "Empires of New York" at The Intellectual Property Corporation. Other notable projects include supervising producer roles at Netflix for "The Grass is Greener" and Creature Films for "Biggie: The Life of The Notorious BIG." Esther's background includes production work on various projects, highlighting a strong commitment to storytelling and representation in media, reinforced by a BA Hons from the University of Hull.
