Danna is very committed to empowering her clients with the tools, resources, and guidance to help them reach their financial goals in their life. In addition to serving her business, Danna resides in Randolph, NJ with her husband, two young sons, and Alaskan Klee Kai (mini-husky). In her spare time, they love kayaking, fishing, and hiking in the many trails around their home. Prior to launching Legacy Care, Danna Jacobs was a Client Service Associate at Barclays Wealth working with the top investment advisor at the firm from January 2010 to March 2013.
Her responsibilities included responding to client inquires regarding investment management, account maintenance, tax issues, trust and estate administration, as well as assisting the sales team with equity offerings, and marketing alternative investment opportunities. Her team raised over $1.3 billion for private equity partnerships over three years.
Ms. Jacobs also has attained the CFP® and ADPA® designations granted by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. In addition, she holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, an internationally renowned business school. She completed her MBA with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship, which included coursework in Business Management, Accounting, Business Strategy, Corporate Finance, and Business Planning. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College (Poughkeepsie, NY) with concentrations in Economics and Italian.
Danna Jacobs is a board member of the Student/Partner Alliance (S/PA), a non-profit organization that partners high school students from urban areas with both scholarships and mentors so they can attain a private high school education. She is also leading the development of a Young Professionals Network (YPN) at S/PA. Other non-profit organizations that Ms. Jacobs has worked with include Habitat for Humanities, Komen Race for the Cure, March of Dimes, and Streetwise Partners.
