Carissa Nelson

Carissa Nelson is an experienced educator currently serving as a Science Teacher at Legacy Christian Academy since July 2018. Additionally, Carissa has held the position of Student Teacher at Little Canada Elementary and Anoka Middle School for the Arts, contributing valuable teaching experience in diverse learning environments. A former Program Director for Super Summer Serve at Christ Church, Carissa has also engaged in various educational roles, including a Student Teacher at Altwood Church of England School and positions at Bethel University as a Student Office Assistant and Student Ambassador. Carissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Bethel University, with minors in STEM Education, 5-8 Social Studies, and 5-8 Science.
