Mark Erwin has had a diverse range of work experiences in the education field. Mark began their career as an English teacher at Greeneview High School in 1999, where they taught various English classes and also served as the English Department chair. During this time, they developed a passion for coaching basketball. In 2006, they had the opportunity to teach Composition and Rhetoric at Ohio University as part of the Visiting High School Teacher Program. Mark then returned to Bellbrook Sugarcreek Schools in 2007, where they taught AP Literature and Composition, British Literature, and other classes, and coached middle and high school boys basketball. In 2016, they also took on the role of Boys JV Basketball Coach at Greeneview High School. In 2017, they returned to Bellbrook Sugarcreek Schools as a High School English Teacher. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Legacy Christian Academy Xenia Ohio. Throughout their career, Mark has expressed a deep passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Mark Erwin earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Secondary English and history from Wright State University in 1998.
