William Lyons

William Lyons, LCSW-S, currently serves as the Sr. Manager of Programs in Social Determinants of Health at Legacy Community Health since January 2019, after holding the same role as Manager in the same department. Previous experience includes working as a Mental Health Therapist at Intracare Hospital and a Social Work Field Instructor at The Salvation Army, where responsibilities included overseeing MSW students' field placements and fostering their professional development. Additional roles include Lead Case Management Specialist and Medical Social Worker at Accu-Care Home Health Services, Therapist during an internship at Waterloo Counseling Center, Special Education Teacher with Austin Independent School District, and various positions focusing on youth counseling and support. William holds a BA in Sociology and an MSSW in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Teacher Certification from Huston-Tillotson University.
