Dan Bissell

Dan Bissell, MD, serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center within Legacy Health, overseeing care coordination for eight hospitals and regional care centers since 2005. In addition to this role, Dan has been an ED Physician at Washington State University - Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor since May 2020. Dan co-founded and serves as Board President of X2 Innovation, LLC, a technology firm focused on medical device innovation and assistive technologies. From August 2005, Dan has also practiced as an Emergency Physician with Northwest Acute Care Specialists, where Dan held the roles of Director of Quality and President & CEO, managing one of the largest independent physician groups on the West Coast. Previously, Dan was a Clinical Informaticist with Inovo Alliance, LLC. Dan earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology and Marine Geophysics from Middlebury College.
