Yara Badrakhan

Yara Badrakhan is an Internal Medicine Resident at Legacy Health since June 2021. Previously, Yara served as a Board Member for the Los Angeles County Community Development Foundation from December 2014 to January 2023, focusing on initiatives to end generational poverty. Yara also worked as a Project Specialist for the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region, engaging with the community and volunteers from October 2016 to June 2017, and held the position of Product Manager at PVTI Healthcare Consulting, specializing in HCC medical coding from December 2014 to March 2016. Yara Badrakhan earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University Nevada (2017-2021), a Master’s Degree in Global Medicine and Management from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (2013-2014), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from UCLA (2009-2013).
