Julie Krumholz McPhail

Development Construction Operations Manager & Transaction Coordinator at Legacy International Resort Properties

Julie rejoined Legacy International Resort Properties in 2021 as Development Construction Operations Manager (DCOM) and Transaction Coordinator (TC), serving as the liaison between sales and construction, and working directly with buyers, title companies, lenders, appraisers, surveyors, and homeowners’ associations through the closing process. Julie will oversee the closings of over 1200 properties in the next three years with many more on the horizon.

Prior to returning to Austin and Legacy International, Julie married and relocated to Denver, Colorado. She continued her passion and expertise since 2004 in real estate development to work as a Real Estate Operations Specialist for a national commercial real estate developer, headquartered in Golden, CO, ARES LLC. This role involved a variety of disciplines from marketing and architectural design, interior design, sales, operations, and property management.

Her first ground-up project was the development and delivery of a three-story, mixed-use building comprised of 33,000 square feet, 10,000 square feet of first floor commercial space and 23,000 square feet of fully furnished, one-bedroom apartments and studio suites. Julie worked intimately in the design, build and sales process resulting in a building with 80% commercial occupancy and 100% residential occupancy when she left.

Julie and her husband returned to Austin to open their third burger bar concept, allowing her to not only “come home,” but also to reconnect with Philip and the Legacy International Resort Properties Team.

Julie attended the University of Texas McCombs School of Business School for two years and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
