Sharon X Hayes

Sharon X Hayes is an experienced operations and human resources leader with a strong background in nonprofit and community-driven organizations. As the Director of Operations at the Legal Action Center since July 2021, Sharon manages organizational operations, overseeing Administration, IT, and Human Resources departments. Prior to this role, Sharon served as the Director of Operations at Sauti Yetu Center for African Women, Inc., where leadership focused on enhancing the lives of African immigrant women. Sharon's entrepreneurial experience as the Sole Proprietor of SXHayes Associates involved providing HR consulting services across various sectors. Additional roles include Manager of Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development at ODL, Inc., and Personnel Director at the Reformed Church in America. With a BA in Psychology from St. John's University, Sharon brings over three decades of expertise in human resources management and organizational development.
