Alexander Hartz is a dedicated attorney with extensive experience in civil rights and tenant advocacy. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Legal Aid Chicago since November 2021, Hartz previously represented railroad workers at Marc J Bern & Partners LLP from September 2019 to November 2021. Legal experience includes a legal externship at the ACLU, where advocacy focused on civil rights issues, and internships at the Lawyers' Committee for Better Housing and First Defense Legal Aid, addressing tenant defenses and police practices, respectively.
