Suzanne Courtheoux

Director, Long-term Care Practice Group at Legal Aid Chicago

Suzanne Courtheoux has a diverse work experience, starting in 2000 when they worked as a School & Community Coordinator for the Civic Education Project. In this role, they recruited high school students for a service learning program and established relationships with schools in the Chicago area.

In 2004, they joined Jenner & Block as an Attorney and served in this role until 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Suzanne worked as an Attorney at Seyfarth Shaw.

In 2013, they joined Legal Aid Chicago as a Supervisory Attorney for the Ombudsman Project and later became the Director of the Long-Term Care Practice Group in June 2022.

Suzanne also briefly worked as a Volunteer Attorney at DVLC in 2013.

Suzanne Courtheoux completed their education with a BA in History from Yale University in the years 1996 to 2000. Following that, they pursued a JD degree in Law from the University of Chicago from 2001 to 2004.
