Kelly Salzmann is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in consumer law and social security administration. Currently serving as a Consumer Law Attorney at the Legal Aid Justice Center since October 2019, Salzmann previously held various roles at the Office of Appellate Operations within the Social Security Administration, including Executive Director and Division Chief Administrative Appeals Judge from December 2008 to May 2019. Earlier experience includes positions as Federal Reviewing Official at the Office of the Federal Reviewing Official and Community Reentry Program Coordinator at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. Education includes a Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University.
