C. Nicole Benjamin

C. Nicole Benjamin has extensive experience in legal advocacy, particularly in supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence in family law matters as a Staff Attorney at Legal Aid of East Tennessee since January 2017. Prior to this role, Benjamin served as an Attorney at Southeast Tennessee Legal Services and gained valuable experience as a Stay-at-home Mom. Early legal work included serving as an Extern in the Consumer Issues Unit at Memphis Area Legal Services, and as a Student Attorney representing clients in the University of Memphis Child and Family Litigation Clinic. Additional contributions include volunteering with the Foster Care Review Board and the Community Legal Center's Immigration Justice Project, where Benjamin actively participated in client representation and legal education initiatives. C. Nicole Benjamin holds a Juris Doctor from The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies, Political Science, and Women's Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
