Jeff Mead is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at East Tennessee State University and as a Volunteer Attorney with Legal Aid of East Tennessee, where legal advice is provided on various civil matters. Prior to these roles, Jeff spent nearly 16 years as an Attorney and Office Administrator at Locke Lord LLP, handling complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Jeff's career includes being a Law Clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia, and contributing to the William & Mary Law Review as an Executive Committee Member and Senior Notes Editor. Earlier career experiences involved self-employment in print production, as well as roles in journalism and advertising. Jeff holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from William & Mary Law School and dual undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Russian from The University of Texas at Austin.
