Justin Charles

Justin Charles has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Justin started their career as an HR Assistant at JP Morgan Chase in 2005. In 2007, they served as a Recruitment Administrator at UBS Global Asset Management, where they excelled at Excel and Access development, data management, and analysis. From 2010 to 2011, Justin worked at Youth Employment Services as a Recruitment Consultant and Staffing Placement Officer, demonstrating advanced communication and consultative skills and successfully filling numerous contracts and positions. Additionally, they built three business partnerships with community organizations. At the University of Toronto, Justin served as an Administrative Officer in the Human Resources & Equity department from 2011 to 2012. Justin then joined the United Way of Greater Toronto in 2013 as an At Work Help Desk Staff, providing technical support during their fundraising campaigns. Justin worked as an Office Manager at Lewis & Associates Refugee Law from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are employed at Legal Aid Ontario as a Web Programmer, where they developed applications to automate manual processes and improve efficiency. Throughout their career, Justin also pursued their passion for photography as a Freelance Photographer at JayC Prophoto from 2011 to 2016.

Justin Charles has a diverse education history. Justin obtained a College Diploma in Human Resources - Business Administration from Seneca College in 2006. In 2010, they graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours BSc in Health Studies. In 2014, they completed a Records Management Fundamentals course at the University of Toronto, and in 2015, they finished a Records Management Practice program at the same institution.

Justin furthered their education in the field of Computer Science by pursuing a Computer Programming Applications degree at The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University. Justin first enrolled in this program in 2017 and has been pursuing it since then. In 2020, they completed another Computer Programming Applications program from the same institution, specializing in Computer Science.

Additionally, Justin has acquired certifications in C# (Basic) and Problem Solving (Basic) from HackerRank in February 2021.
