Nimani Samarakkody

Nimani Samarakkody has a diverse work experience background. They began their career as a Junior Environmental Technician at exp Global Inc. in 2013. From 2014 to 2015, Nimani worked as a Sample Preparation Technician at AGAT Laboratories. They then went on to work as a Research Assistant at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law from October 2017 to April 2018. In 2018, Nimani worked as a Summer Law Student at B&I Legal Counsel. Currently, Nimani is employed at Legal Aid Ontario, where they started as a Student at Law in August 2019 and then progressed to the role of Staff Lawyer in July 2020.

Nimani Samarakkody completed a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology at McMaster University from 2011 to 2016. Nimani then pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law at the University of Windsor from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, they studied Law at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law from 2016 to 2019.
