Gareth Mee serves as Chief Investment Officer for Legal & General Assurance Society and the Institutional Retirement division, overseeing the management and investment of the insurance business's balance sheet across public and private markets since January 2022. Prior to this role, Gareth held various positions at EY from August 2003 to December 2021, including Chief Investment Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Partner, and Consultant. Gareth holds a BSc in Mathematics from UCL, completed between 2000 and 2003, and was educated at Manchester Grammar School from 1993 to 2000.
