Mark Bleackley

Mark Bleackley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in change management and IT transformation, currently serving as the Director of Planning and Performance at Legal & General since April 2018. In this role, Mark has achieved significant cost efficiencies, delivering 10% annual savings while overseeing investment and change governance. Mark previously held key positions at RSA, including Head of Change Delivery and Head of Transformation Programme, where responsibilities included managing substantial project budgets and leading IT transformation initiatives. Mark's career began at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Technology Risk Consultant, followed by significant contributions at CSC as a Systems Analyst. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Physics from the University of Leeds and additional qualifications in project management and business leadership.
