Nicky Blakeman

Nicky Blakeman is an accomplished governance professional with extensive experience in governance, policy, and strategic project management. Currently serving as Director of Governance, Policy and Strategic Projects and Head of Policy and Governance at Legal & General Affordable Homes since August 2018, Nicky also holds the position of Company Secretary for Legal & General Capital. Previous roles include Interim Company Secretary at Legal & General Investment Management and Assistant Company Secretary at Hill & Smith Holdings PLC. Nicky has a strong foundation in corporate governance, having started as Governance Manager at Your Housing Group and progressing to Group Company Secretary. Nicky's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Leicester and several certifications in corporate governance from The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.
