Brian Schwartz has extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Brian currently serves as the Head of US Real Estate Debt at Legal & General Investment Management America since December 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Great-West Investments as the Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial Mortgage Investments for 16 years, from 2003 to 2019. Before joining Great-West Investments, they held positions at Churchill Mortgage of San Diego as an Investment Officer from 2000 to 2003, Fremont Investment & Loan as an Assistant Vice President from 1997 to 2000, World Trade Bank as an Assistant Vice President from 1993 to 1997, and Directors Mortgage as a Loan Consultant from 1991 to 1993. Additionally, they have a background in sports, having worked for the Cleveland Indians as a Minor League Baseball player from 1990 to 1991.

Brian Schwartz received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from UCLA in 1990.
