Meghan Smith

As Director of Operations, Meghan is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the business. Meghan has several years of experience in the legal field starting her career as a Legal Assistant at Fish & Richardson, P.C., a leading global intellectual property law firm where she worked in both the prosecution and litigation departments. She also has a background and passion for policy and politics, which led her to focus on federal policy for the National Restaurant Association. Her eye for detail and desire to make systems, processes and people work as effectively and efficiently makes her a natural fit for operations. Meghan prides herself on her strong desire to provide our team members with the support, tools, resources, and information they need to be successful. She is responsible for engaging and maintaining partnerships with law schools and clients as well as managing our marketing, social media, human resources, and many other business functions.

Prior to joining Legal Innovators as part of the inaugural team, Meghan was the Public Policy Manager for the National Restaurant Association, where she advocated before Congress and the Executive Branch on the Association’s priority issues including Trade, Labor, Travel and Tourism, Food and Nutrition, Privacy, Tax and Healthcare.
