Carly A. Gartenberg

Carly A. Gartenberg is a Staff Attorney in the Housing Rights Unit at Manhattan Legal Services, with experience in various legal roles including a Lewis Steel Racial Justice Fellow at New York Law School and a Judicial Intern at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Previous positions include work with the ACLU Racial Justice Program and serving as a Student Attorney in the Housing Rights Clinic at Manhattan Legal Services. Carly has also contributed as a Legal Intern at Goddard Riverside Community Center and worked as a Research Assistant for the Boricua Youth Study at Columbia University. Carly holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, magna cum laude, from Ursinus College.
