James McCormick

James McCormick is an experienced legal professional with a strong focus on housing law and pro bono services. Since May 2015, James has served as Housing Pro Bono Coordinating Attorney and Senior Staff Attorney at Legal Services NYC. Prior to this role, James worked as a Post-graduate Law Fellow at South Brooklyn Legal Services from November 2014 to May 2015. Additional experience includes positions as a Legal Intern at The Door's Legal Services Center and Legal Services NYC's Brooklyn Branch, and as a Legal Intern at Rankin & Taylor. Earlier in James's career, legal support was provided at GLAD and Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. James holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School and a BA in English-Political Science from Columbia University.
