Mary Humphreys

Mary Humphreys is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney in the Immigration Unit at Legal Services NYC since April 2022. With extensive experience in immigration law, previous roles include Legal Extern at Sanctuary for Families, where Mary prepared asylum applications and conducted legal research, and Legal Intern at Lincoln Square Legal Services, where responsibilities included drafting motions and corresponding with incarcerated clients. Mary also served as a Research Assistant at the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice, focusing on reproductive rights issues, and participated in advocacy efforts with the New York Civil Liberties Union and Physicians for Reproductive Health. Mary holds a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and advanced degrees in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
