Nikole Schick

Nikole Schick is a Supervising Attorney and Guardian ad Litem for the Office of Public Advocacy in Fairbanks, Alaska, since April 2017, overseeing a team that includes public guardians, guardians ad litem, a CASA Coordinator, and legal support staff while managing a complex caseload of child protection, juvenile delinquency, domestic relations, domestic violence, and guardianship cases. Previously, Nikole served as a Magistrate Judge/Standing Master for the Alaska Court System, handling a wide range of judicial matters from 2009 to 2017, and as an Associate Attorney at Borgeson & Burns, P.C., focusing on civil litigation. Legal experience includes roles as a Law Clerk in the Alaska Court System and a Summer Associate in a boutique civil litigation firm. Nikole earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from the same institution.
