Nevah Jones

Nevah Jones is an accomplished attorney currently serving as an Attorney and Skadden Fellow at the Veterans Law Project at Legal Aid of North Carolina since August 2023, following a similar role at the Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy from September 2022 to August 2023. Jones holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, where studies focused on health law. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Jones held various leadership positions, including Deputy Group Commander of the 366th Maintenance Group, where leadership spanned 1,450 technicians and extensive oversight of aircraft maintenance operations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development from Webster University, and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
