Niya Fonville Swint

Niya Fonville Swint currently serves as the Chief Community Engagement Officer at Legal Aid of North Carolina, focusing on equal access to justice through collaboration with stakeholders. Previously, Niya held multiple roles at Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, including Adjunct Professor and Director of Externships, overseeing a substantial externship program and mentoring law students. With an extensive background at Legal Aid of North Carolina as Supervising Attorney and Staff Attorney, Niya developed strong client relations and provided legal representation across various administrative and court proceedings. Niya earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Salem College.
