Kendall MacRostie, CIPP/US

Kendall MacRostie, CIPP/US has a diverse work experience. In 2013, they were a Legal Intern at Kim and Chang, where they researched topics related to US Law in an international setting to help US clients enforce trademark rights abroad. In 2014, they were a Law Clerk at The Law Offices of Geoff Wiggs. In 2015, they were a Legal Intern at Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto and a Risk Management at Allied Telesis, where they assessed and redlined different types of contracts to match corporate interests, assisted outside counsel with patent and trademark applications, and ensured transactions of hardware complied with government export regulations. In 2016, they were an Attorney at Mlnarik Law Group, where approximately one quarter of their practice was devoted to counseling clients on employment laws and drafting and redlining lease and purchase agreements for residential and commercial real estate on behalf of small business owner clients. In 2018, they were an Attorney at Foster Employment Law and Chief CIP Advocate at lucy technologies, inc, where they drafted employment and consumer privacy content for an interactive legal guide, drafted an employee handbook and employment agreements to facilitate team building process, and drafted a privacy policy for CCPA compliance. Kendall MacRostie, CIPP/US attended Sonoma Valley High School from 2000 to 2004. Kendall then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and History from Boston University between 2004 and 2008. MacRostie then attended Santa Clara University School of Law, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in 2015. In October 2015, MacRostie obtained a Compliance with US Export Controls certification from the US Department of Commerce. Finally, in June 2019, they obtained their Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
