Lisa Schmid

Lisa Schmid is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in employment law and employee relations. Currently, Lisa serves as Senior Employment and Employee Relations Counsel at LegalZoom, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Lisa worked as an Employment Attorney at The Goodman Group, LLC, and held various positions at U.S. Bank, including Employee Relations Consultant, as well as at Nilan Johnson Lewis, where Lisa was Associate/Special Counsel. Lisa began their legal career as a Summer Associate at Halleland Lewis Nilan & Johnson and has also contributed as a Physical Education Teacher and Legislative Assistant. Lisa earned a Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Women's Studies from the College of Saint Benedict.
