Adam McConnell

Adam McConnell is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in governance, risk management, and enterprise security strategy. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Cyber-Security, Governance, and Risk at Legence since October 2021, Adam has previously held significant roles including Enterprise Security Strategist at Xcel Energy, where key contributions involved advising senior executives and leading a three-year security strategic plan, and Security Program Development Lead at Trissential, focusing on security assessments and governance frameworks. Prior experience also includes serving as Senior Enterprise Security Architect at Best Buy, where Adam provided guidance on security architecture and data protection, and as Director of Security at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, overseeing the global Security Threat & Vulnerability Management program. Adam holds a Bachelor of Elective Studies in Mathematics from St. Cloud State University.
