Heather Romlein

Heather Romlein currently serves as the Sr. Manager of Lifecycle Management, Technical Documentation Lead, and CAR-T Manufacturing Engineer at Legend Biotech, having joined the company in October 2021. Previously, Romlein worked at Novartis from June 2016 to October 2021, holding positions including Sr. CAR-T Process Expert, CAR-T Process Expert, and Cell Processing Specialist, where expertise in manufacturing T-cells for clinical trials of the CTL019 therapy was developed. Prior experience includes a role as a QC Microbiologist at EMSL Analytical, Inc. from April 2015 to June 2016, focused on microbiological testing and compliance with GMP methodologies. Romlein began a teaching career as a Teaching Assistant at Seton Hall University from 2011 to 2013, educating on Anatomy & Physiology and Genetics while mentoring students. Romlein holds a Master's degree in Microbiology from Seton Hall University.
