Jim Spielman

Jim Spielman has extensive experience in the financial and investment banking industry. Jim is currently the President of Institutional Capital Markets & Corporate Strategy at Legendary Capital, where they oversee the acquisition, operation, and sale of hotel brands. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Legendary Capital, where they managed financial operations and helped the company achieve over $600 million in assets under management.

Before joining Legendary Capital, Jim was the Founding Managing Partner of Sympheron Partners LLC, a firm specializing in M&A advisory and strategic financing services for software and tech-enabled companies. Jim held this position for a decade, demonstrating their expertise in this field.

Earlier in their career, Jim served as the Chief Financial Officer at Intelligent InSites, a software-as-a-service company that provided asset tracking and workflow solution services to healthcare facilities. During their tenure, the company was acquired by Infor. Jim showcased their skills in financial forecasting, modeling, and budgeting, as well as their abilities in business strategy and operational management.

Prior to their role at Intelligent InSites, Jim worked as an Investment Banking Associate at both Houlihan Lokey and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where they gained experience in M&A and restructuring services, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Jim's career started at HCP, the largest publicly traded healthcare REIT at the time, where they served as the Senior Portfolio Manager.

Throughout their career, Jim has displayed strong leadership abilities and expertise in various areas, including financial management, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning.

Jim Spielman has an MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BS in Accounting, Cum Laude, from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Jim also holds a Certified Public Accountant certification from the California State Board of Accountancy. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Algorithmic Trading and Stocks Essential Training, Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Essential Training, Power BI Essential Training, Building High-Performance Teams, Series 27-Financial & Operations Principal, Series 24 General Securities Principal License, Series 79 Limited Representative-Investment Banking, Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law License, and Series 7 General Securities Representative.
