Sergio Pedreiro

Sergio Pedreiro has a wealth of experience in the business world. Sergio began their career in 1996 as an Investment Officer at GP Investimentos, where they developed new investment opportunities and served as Director on the board of portfolio companies. In 2002, they joined AMERICA LATINA LOGISTICA as both a Board Member and CFO, where they oversaw a 24% annual revenue increase and a 38% annual EBITDA increase. In 2009, they joined Coty as CFO, where they implemented a restructuring plan that reduced costs by more than $90 million and increased operating margin by 410 basis points. In 2014, they joined BTG Pactual as Private Equity, and in 2015, they became Chief Executive Officer of ESTRE Ambiental SA. During their tenure as CEO, they developed a winning culture and led the Company's listing in NASDAQ through a business combination with a SPAC in 2017. In 2016, they joined Advanced Disposal Services, Inc. as a Board Member. In 2021, they became a Board Member of Algar and a Strategic Advisor at Legendary Ventures. Sergio currently serves as Board Member and Audit Committee Chair at Eve Air Mobility.

Sergio Pedreiro obtained their Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA between 1984 and 1988. Sergio then went on to get their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stanford University between 1994 and 1996. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation and Application from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
