Jean-Baptiste Hétault

Jean-Baptiste H. has extensive experience in geospatial intelligence and Earth observation, currently serving in defense earth observation programs at CNES since June 2024, and as a reserve officer in the Armée de Terre focusing on digital geography and innovation since November 2019. Prior roles include leading imagery solution programs at Esri France, managing geospatial intelligence projects at Airbus Defence and Space, and acting as a product owner and geo-evangelist at Thales. Jean-Baptiste H. has also held positions as a project manager and technical manager, specializing in remote sensing and photogrammetry, and has contributed to various R&D endeavors related to Earth observation. Educational qualifications include an engineer's degree in Surveying Technology from INSA Strasbourg and a Ph.D. in Geography from Université Louis Pasteur.
