Leslie Allen has been deeply immersed in human development for over 20 years, beginning in 2010 when they became a Conversation Host for Change the Conversation, Change your Life! In 2016, they began working as a Collaborative Engagement Specialist for the Alberta Energy Regulator, a Personal Development/Life Coach Facilitator for McBride Career Group, and a Return to Work Facilitator for Morneau Shepell. In 2019, they became a Project Coordinator for IMAGINE Citizens, a Speaker for various engagements, and a Conflict Resolution Instructor and Coach at the University of Calgary. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Manager/Conflict Resolution Advisor/Coach for the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, and in 2022, they became a Coach for LeggUP Inc.
Leslie Allen has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology/Women Studies from the University of Alberta. In 2020, they obtained a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) from the Co-Active Training Institute, an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation, and a Registered Practicing Mediator from the Alberta Family Mediation Society. In 2019, they obtained a Certificate in End-of-Life Doula from Douglas College. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate in Foundations of Public Participation and Techniques for Effective Public Participation from IAP2. In 2014, they obtained the Aboriginal Relations Leadership Participatory Certificate from the University of Calgary. In 2011, they obtained a Conflict Resolution: Mediation/Third Party Intervention Certificate from the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Leslie also has a Certificate in Divorce and Family Mediation from the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society, Conversational Leadership/Participatory Dialogue from the Art of Hosting, and Circle Facilitation from PeerSpirit Inc.
