Ben Van Roo

Ben Van Roo is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Legion, where the focus is on agentic AI for mission-critical systems since April 2022. Additionally, Ben serves on the GSOF Advisory Council for the Global SOF Foundation and has contributed as a writer for Bloomberg LP. Previously, Ben held various significant positions including Board Member at Enlitic and Executive In Residence at Amplify Partners. Notably, Ben spent three years as Executive Vice President at Primer AI, focusing on national security, and led analytics and data science initiatives at Chegg Inc., achieving substantial improvements in supply chain efficiency. Ben's academic background includes a PhD in Operations Research, an MBA with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, and a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, all from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
