Bowinn

Bowinn Ma is the Minister of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness for the Government of British Columbia, a role held since July 2017. As MLA for North Vancouver-Lonsdale since May 2017, Bowinn Ma serves on various legislative committees, including the Chair of the Select Standing Committee on Crown Corporations and acting Chair of the Committee of Supply. Previous positions include Minister of State for Infrastructure, where work focused on highway recovery and major transportation projects, as well as Parliamentary Secretary for TransLink. Bowinn Ma's experience also includes project management roles as Project Engineer at Vancouver Airport Authority and Project Analyst at AMBIT Consulting Inc., complemented by a strong educational background with a Master of Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
