Alejandro Silva S.

Alejandro Silva S. has a diverse work experience. Alejandro started their career at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche as an Undergraduate Researcher, working on a project involving flexible containers made from recycled biodegradable polymers and exhaust coffee grains. Alejandro then joined Tenaris as a Global Trainee, where they focused on sales and marketing, including forecasting and commercial follow-up. At Hays, they served as an Associate Consultant, responsible for commercial management and developing strategies for clients in various industries. Alejandro then joined ARC Constructores S.A.S. as a Project Coordinator, managing and coordinating activities for construction and renovation projects. Alejandro later moved to Legrand, where they initially served as a Supplier Development Engineer, managing strategic processes for supplier management and sourcing projects. Alejandro then moved on to become the Quality Assurance & Certifications Director, focusing on product quality, certification, and adherence to industry standards. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Quality Assurance & Certifications at Legrand, with a primary focus on driving customer satisfaction and growth through professional handling of incidents and ensuring the manufacturing of safe products aligned with industry standards.

Alejandro Silva S. completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. In 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Strategic Business Management from Aden Business School, specializing in general business administration and management. Additionally, in 2018, they attended IMD for a program in Organizational Leadership. Moreover, Alejandro also completed an Academic Option in Economics at Universidad de Los Andes, spanning from 2006 to 2010.
