Lydie Georges

Lydie Georges has extensive work experience in finance and control roles. Lydie started their career at Ernst & Young as a senior mission leader from 1988 to 1992. Lydie then joined Legris Industries as a Consolideur from 1992 to 1995. Lydie then moved to Groupe AFE and worked as a Responsable Consolidation from 1995 to 1999. Lydie later joined Groupe Porcher Industries as an Adjointe Direction Financière Groupe from 1999 to 2004. Since then, Lydie has held various positions at Legrand, including Head of Consolidation Group Legrand from 2004 to 2014, CFO Megapower Legrand Malaysia from 2014 to 2016, Regional Group Chief Financial Officer South-East Asia from 2016 to 2018, and Head of Internal Audit & Control and Risk Management from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Finance Control Business Unit User Interface at Legrand.

Lydie Georges completed an MBA from the University of Bradford in 1987-1988. Prior to this, they pursued a degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, and Management Control from EM Strasbourg Business School between 1984 and 1987. In 2011, Lydie furthered their education with an ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting.
